So, what are we talking about here?

According to the dictionary transition means: movement, passage, or change from one position, state, stage, subject, concept, etc., to another; change.

If you’re like me, there are all manner of things you’d like to change… some big, some small.  The big things, like the economy, climate change, education, war, etc… may seem way too big to be able to make much of an impact. Heck, the medium things like a new job/career, living situation, or creating a secure financial picture can seem incredibly daunting on some days.  And let’s face it… that long list of little things we’d like to change… you know the ones… that last 10- 15 pounds; de-cluttering… well, everything; making time for your dearly loved, but somehow forgotten hobbies… it just seems to be too much, and just adds too much to the already too much!

But are we ok with things staying the way they are? If we are, then why do we have this list in the first place? (Yes, even it’s just a mental list… it still counts!) So then, what are we to do? Can’t move forward, don’t want to move back… sounds like stuck to me. I know, I’ve been there. In fact, I’m there now, in more areas than I care to admit.  But I do have a secret way out…

In my many years and many adventures through life I have always been absolutely enthralled by change, catalysts, and how to make these things happen.  This passion has led me to collect a fairly impressive “tool kit” of ways, thoughts, maps, games, etc. to create change… big and small.  In the coming weeks, months, [years?] I will be reaching into the this tool kit for myself.  And if history is any indication, there will also include more than a few mis-adventures in this process. That’s okay, no one ever said I had to be graceful… and stumbling into my new life is just fine with me… at least I’ll get there!

What changes would you like to see in your own world?
